Dance Festival Closing Ceremonies

What: Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Closing Ceremonies- Free Event
 
Where:  Smith Park in Rexburg
 
When:  Saturday, August 4, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
 
Who:  Open to the public for free. Public invited to bring their own picnic lunch.
 
Why:  Say good bye, wish the international dancers luck and close the Idaho International Dance and Music Festival.

Dance Festival Gala

What:  Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Gala Performances.

 
Where:  BYU-Idaho Hart Auditorium (Ticketed Event). Tickets can be purchased at the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce or at the door $10 for the red seats or $3 for the bleachers.

When:  Friday August 3 and Saturday August 4.  Preshow starts at 7:00 pm and Gala Performance at 7:30 pm.
 
Who:  Public
 
Why:  Watch the International Dancers perform.

Dance Festival Performance

What:  Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Matinee Performance.

 
Where:  New Madison High School (Ticketed Event). Tickets can be purchased at the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce or at the door $4 each or $15 for family of 5 or more.

When:  Thursday August 2 at 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.

 
Who:  Public
 
Why:  Watch the International Dancers perform.

Youth Culture Day

What:  Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Youth Culture Day Free Event ( no ticket required).
 
Where:  Rigby Junior High School and New Madison High School
 
When:  Tuesday, July 31, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in Rigby and Thursday August 2, 9:00 am – 12:00pm in Rexburg
 
Who:  Ages 6-16
 
Why:  For the youth in the area to learn dances from the international dancers from the countries of France, Indonesia, China, Russia, Japan and Poland.

Street Festival and Parade

What: Idaho International Dance and Music Festival Street Festival and Parade- Free Event
 
Where:  Main Street in Rexburg
 
When:  Monday, July 30

            Street Festival: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

            Parade: 6:30 pm

            International Street Dance: 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm 

Who:  Open to the public for free.
 
Why:  Educate the public and enjoy the international dancers in a public setting. Come to enjoy local vendors during the street festival.
