Pianist Alpin Hong at BYU-I



Septmeber 28, 7:30pm at the Barrus Concert Hall, pianist Alpin Hong will be performing.

 Hong is a native of Michigan with a Master’s Degree from The Julliard School.  He has recently completed a tour of the United States.  He was also a winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition in 2001.

The Idaho Statesman reported that “Hong cut a magnetic physical presence and charmed the audience with engaging powerful movements that were fun to watch.  Throughout the piece he and the orchestra showed a wonderful give and take.”

Hong is a young pianist with an energetic performance style.  The performance at BYU-Idaho this month should be both masterful and entertaining.

This concert requires event dress and no children under six are permited.  Tickets are available at tickets.byui.edu.
